1925 Stuffed Dog Pattern

Sitting dog pattern by Lester Shafer. Either download the PDF or visit the USPTO to save each page as a .tif

  1. Hi,

Thanks for the sitting dog pattern. It looks exactly like my son's special dog that is starting to fall to pieces. Any idea on how to put it together?

    I love your blog.

  2. Hi Laura,
Thanks for the love, I really appreciate that comment.
The direction are in the body of the two pages of text, sort of.
I have to print the text pages and go through it with a highlighter to figure out the order of steps.
Then I'll make a list in plain English of the steps they mention.
Still, it's like putting together a puzzle and makes me grateful for modern pattern writers who make each step clear and easy.
I haven't made this dog ( I don't make much anymore) but thought it was cute and could be made with the information provided. I hope this helped some.

It's the cutest, thank you! I'm going to print the pattern and try to create a cuddly toy just like the drawing. Looking forward to puzzle it together!
    Best regards, Saskia (NL).
