Cloth Hat Patterns

Back in the days before walk in closets there was a hat storage issue. Hats that could be stored flat became fashionable. The three patent designs shown here could be the starting point for some cute hats today. The fourth hat is just plain easy too though I would probably sew them all into the final shape. Click the pictures to be taken to the patents.

If anyone makes anything from these ideas please show me!

Here is another one.

  1. Oh I am SO GLAD you are back! I kept my bookmark & kept checking back with you. I love these hat patterns. I need something that will go with an Issey Miyake coat, and these look interesting. Thank you so much.

Love these hat ideas. I have printed them out to use with a mum and kids after school sewing group I take. I think the easy make and clever folds will capture everyones imagination. Thank you. By the way I have just stumbled on your blog and I love it.

  3. The first pattern with the stitched brim could be a practical idea for a rain hat that you can keep folded in your pocket.
