Hi--I used to have a huge pile of vintage McCall's Needlework, I seem to remember one had some stunning "macaroni as high art" Christmas ornaments. I don't have mine anymore, got any macaroni patterns in your pile? I want to do a Christmas craft project with the neighbors girls, I think this would be fun.
Your site is one of a handful I check on a near daily babis, I adore it!

Thanks for sharing these darling Christmas ornaments. I have 1 old McCalls mag and have made almost everything in it. The birds in my mag are one of my favorites, now they will have company. Thanks so much, and can't wait to see more from that stack!

These birds are so precious. I've been making felt ornaments for a swap and since I've all my supplies out I'm going to make a few of these.

Meggie, it is nice to see you back.

Today I posted an entry on my blog with a link to this template/tutorial on yours.

Would you let me know if that's OK?

    Thanks,

I was looking for a portable craft as I knew I was going to be traveling last week for the holidays. I came across these fun birds and printed out a copy. Over Thanksgiving at my sister's house, I worked on making some felt birds while chatting with my Mom who as in the middle of pumpkin pie creation. Thanks for sharing this one, it was fun to do and I look forward to sharing the finished birds as gifts this year.
