Fabric Fans

Instructions at the Embroidery Library include how to cut the fan sticks. These are embroidered but the instructions could suit any fabric. The templates and machine embroidery designs are for sale.
A different downloadable fan template is available here from SandScripts online printers.
I even see the shape as pillows. Fans have been a recent interest and I'll have more posts in the future.

How cool that you like fans. I have a small collection from when my Dad sent them home from the Korean War & from a good friend who gifts when he visits from Japan. I never thought of making one, but now I'll have a good purpose for my small collection of chirimen fabric. Thanks Meggie !

  3. I would love to try this project and shall add it to my list. Of course, this means that I'll need to live until I'm 507 in order to accomplish said to-do list. But wouldn't this fan also be fun to use as an invitation by writing the details on one side?
