You were darling. I love that look from the 60's 70's. My graduating picture from 72 was almost the same with the dark sweater, pendant, and long dark hair.
My mom wouldn't let me have cool boots, either. I so badly wanted white gogo boots... Despite how (i repeatedly heard from my mom) they were expensive and impractical. Sigh.
It was very difficult to show myself at all. LOL! Now you know, I'm a "retro" relic. Thanks for the kind words but the ONLY time I came close to looking like Marlo Thomas was on that day. Also, I only added that small current picture to show that the ravages of time haven't been all that bad if you don't look too closely!
No, Patti, (LOL) my hair is grey. I started going grey when I was eighteen and won the award for "most grey hair" at the 10 year high school reunion. The girls who were in charge of that snickered and were mean but I marched up on stage and said "Thank you, I earned every one". Dad is a doll and he's having a small surgery today so of course I have to worry a little until I hear from him. I'm sure he would be happy to adopt you.
That picture DOES look just like you! I sure didn't look that good when I graduated from high school (but then, no one looked very good in the 70's). I had go go boots in '68. I was a groovy 9-year-old!
Oh. No. I was a huge dork and close to the bottom of the social chain. 4 years of Latin….geek girl. Made my own often ugly clothes. 4' 11" 90 lbs, flat chested. Still am but I think I have a great brain! Good thing since I've acquired Myasthenia Gravis. I have weakness of all muscles but not always having control of my eyes has been rough. Having a good period now. I can't believe you are still on your project. What an artist you are. I'm in awe of the realism the characters and props have. The sets are amazing. Aren't you happy to have your imagination?
I've always thought that I can make anything if I set my mind to it.
This blog is notes to myself and my arty friends of crafty links I like and find useful. I'll also offer printable projects that I make.
If you find something useful, all the better.
Please take the time to thank the creator before you download the wonderful thing these generous people are sharing with you.

You are absolutely stunning! It's so nice to put a face to the name. Thanks for the comment, and the hospital was better than a spa, lol.
